In Thanksgiving

Countless times,
again and again
I thanked to waitress
for a cup of coffee
I thanked to unknowns
for absolutely free
but I've forgotten to thank sun
for its warm morning
I've forgotten to thank moon
for its pleasant evening
I've really forgotten to thank to roses
for its beauty and hues
to the air
for its tender touches
and to the rain
for its healing showers.
And, yes,
I almost forget to thank you
for your unfailing love and caress
Oh, this year I must not forget to say
Thanksgiving's those due thanks to you all.
